Robert Whelan, President
Robert has been in the body shop business for 15 years. As a painter's helper during high school under his mentor, Steve Lewis, he is fortunate to have hands on experience in the field. After being promoted to estimating he quickly excelled into a management position and then elected to become an insurance adjuster. After a short time as a insurance adjuster he was promoted to a Property Damage Trainer and Regional Watercraft and RV claims handler. After a couple of years with a great company Robert decided that his home was in the body shop where he was more involved with people and repairs. After managing a dealership body shop for a couple of years and then a large independent body shop, he was fortunate enough to meet Ron George, the prior owner of Bay Custom, and purchase the shop in August of 2004.
Mike Whelan, Operations Manager
Mike oversees everyday operations, scheduling, coordinating hidden damage coverage, and quality assurance. As founding father and first year President of his fraternity, Mike is a proven leader. He has quickly excelled in the business and has been hired to focus on process improvement and employee training. His commitment to excellence never goes unnoticed as well as his professionalism and character.
Andrea Wilson, the office manger, has been with the company for 4 years. She handles all of our book work, payments, collections, insurance billing, employee benefits and payroll. Andrea has everyday dealings with insurance adjusters, and will always go out of her way in order to help a customer with their claim, checking on payments, and doing anything necessary to make the claims experience better.
